Wiivv and Scholl’s Partner Up to Create Customized 3D Printed Insoles
3D printing in the footwear industry creates new scenarios
Scholl has always been the brand of reference for the insoles industry. Every customer now has the opportunity to have their own insoles printed in 3D and customized according to the shape and size of their foot. Scholl now offers customized insoles printed in 3D using Wiivv Fit technology. Customers can therefore easily use a simple smartphone app and customize their own insoles.

The Wiivv Revolution
In 2016, Wiivv was second in the TechCrunch Hardware Battlefield Competition held at CES in Las Vegas. At the same time, the company launched its first successful Kickstarter campaign to manufacture its insoles. In 2017, Wiivv organized another Kickstarter campaign, again with great success, this time for custom sandals printed in 3D. CES was the place where Wiivv and Scholl met and started discussing a possible partnership.
