Integrated solution to address the specific workflows of jewelry production
Figure 4 Jewelry uses high precision, fine detail, speed and smooth surface finish. Optimized printing system, thanks to 3D Sprint® software.
In addition, specially developed materials enable the development of three jewelry production workflows:
Investment casting
3D printing of fusion models for highly accurate and detailed jewelry. With fast print speed and MicroPointTM support structure, Figure 4 Jewelry offers superior fusing quality and printing capability for producing custom pieces and short runs in the same day.
RTV/Silicone Molding
Producing 3D printed master models for RTV/silicone molds used in high volume jewelry casting and mass production workflows, such as accessories and costume jewelry.
Prototyping/Modeling
Create accurate prototypes, taking into account the smallest details, for jewelry designs, which can be used for fittings and testing, as well as to ensure the accuracy of the stone settings.
Non-stop Jewelry
Able to get products quickly, Figure 4 Jewelry allows jewelry manufacturers to accelerate time-to-market and respond quickly to market demands for custom jewelry or short runs at low cost per piece.
The fast, digital workflow can respond to any design changes, whether minor or drastic, so that new designs can be delivered very quickly, allowing unparalleled flexibility.
Cost-effective and fast jewellery production
Print algorithms developed specifically for jewelry workflows allow faster printing time than similar jewellery printing solutions (at 16mm/hour with a layer resolution of 30μm).
High quality models
Figure 4 Jewelry’s non-contact membrane technology combined with the unique MicroPoint support structures minimizes side-to-side interaction, resulting in smoother side walls and better resolution for jewelry applications.
Ultra-fine details
Print styles developed specifically for jewelry, both thin and delicate geometries and thicker geometries, allow for optimized jewelry prints with details for settings, fine mesh and more.
Ad hoc support structures
The support structures of MicroPoint ultrafine tips allow both easy removal of the substrate and a smoother surface finish, reducing downstream labor costs and production time by minimizing polishing of the intersection points of the substrate.

Ad hoc materials for jewellery
3D Systems’ Material Design Center has over 30 years of proven experience in materials research and development.
Designed for jewelry manufacturing professionals, Figure 4 Jewelry materials are optimized for jewelry design and production workflows.
Jewellery models for direct casting
Figure 4 JCAST-GRN 10 produces accurate, reproducible and highly detailed master models for jewelry casting. This high-contrast green material is easy to melt with minimal ash and residue, quickly producing high-quality jewelry pieces.
RTV/Silicone Molding Master Models
Print detailed, fine-featured master patterns in a material optimized to withstand the heat and pressure of the RTV/Silicone mold making process used in high-volume jewelry casting workflows.
Jewelry Prototyping/Molding
This high-contrast prototyping material was developed to show the design details of the conceptual models and tests, with the precision and fidelity necessary to ensure the final adaptation of the stone settings.
Accessories
3D Systems has thought about developing accessories to facilitate 3D post-printing processes.

Post-curing
The LC-3DPrint Box post-curing unit is available for the UV curing parts required to achieve the final material properties and is the recommended UV curing unit for the print materials in Figure 4.
The LC-3DPrint Box is a revolutionary UV light tool with 12 UV lamps strategically placed inside to ensure that the product is illuminated from all sides, resulting in a fast and uniform curing cycle. This light-based UV curing process takes minutes instead of hours, normally required with hot curing processes.
LC-3DMixer
LC-3D Mixer keeps your material ready to use at all times with optimal consistency. LC-3DMixer is a roller/tilt mixer for mixing 3D print materials.
