Nexa 3D presents the new xCE-Black high performance polymer
The fastest printer on the market now has a new polymer for rapid production of tools and parts
Nexa 3D, of which 3DZ is exclusive dealer for the European market, has recently presented a new additive production material: xCE-Black.
It is a polymer for the rapid production of end-use parts and injection moulding tools. This new high-performance material requires single polymerization and is characterized by high flexural strength.
xCE-BLACK has excellent isotropic properties and long-term environmental stability, making it suitable for use in automotive, electronics and many industrial components, as well as for the production of injection molding equipment.
In the pictures you can notice the surface finish and the degree of detail obtained when printing covers for the controls inside a car.
xCE-Black has been extensively tested for a variety of uses and has proven to have excellent thermal stability, making it a particularly suitable material for many automotive, electronic and industrial components.
This polymer can also be used to produce injection moulding tools for a wide range of thermoplastic polymers, including PP, PE, HDPE and PETG. Moulds made with xCE-Black have been used hundreds of times at temperatures between 230°C and 280°C, without degradation or adhesion, and without the need for release agents.
In the video above, an example of the manufacturing flexibility offered by Nexa 3D, which has managed to produce thousands of belt pulleys in just a few hours.
For this specific application, the new material xCE-Black was chosen because of its high structural flexibility and long-term stability. During the first 2.5 hours dedicated to the project, Nexa 3D printed 2000 pulleys in a single print (13 parts per minute). An example of speed and practicality for mass production of industrial parts.
