Additive manufacturing is a revolution which leads to a drastic reduction of costs and times for the manufacture of objects, tools, molds, and even more.
3D Systems is a leading player in the 3D printing field and through its innovative technologies and solutions is expanding its reach across various businesses and countries.
3DZ, the leading italian reseller of 3D printing and 3D scanning technologies, is glad to announce the recent opening of two more company branches located in Serbia and Romania. 3DZ brings all its knowledge and experience on the 3D’s field to two countries whose economies are constantly growing and willing to do it behind the times.
From the words of Marco Tormena, South-Europe Channel Manager at 3D Systems: “II’m excited that 3DZ has opened two new branches in Romania and Serbia, especially since they did it in collaboration with well-established companies in the area such CAD WORKS and Solfins. As new 3D Systems’ resellers in Romania and Serbia I am expecting great business achievements from them. Their excellent experience in the CAD industry will definitely strengthen the presence of our brand in Europe.”
The 3DZ branch based in Serbia will rely on the experience of Solfins, a company that is definitely not a novice in the 3D world.
“Solfins aims to provide solutions for engineering and manufacturing purposes,” says Predrag Radovanovic, Head Executive at Solfins, ”we are already Solidworks’retailers and, after a careful analysis of our market, we can say that Serbian companies will get definitely great benefits from the application of 3D printing and 3D scanning technologies. We are glad to be part of a group as 3DZ: by their experience in the 3D field they will assure us all the assistance and support we need to kick off this new adventure.”
3DZ Serbia will be an authorized reseller of 3D Systems. As a starting point, in their office they will have a 3D Systems’ ProJet 2500 Plus, some FDM printers and a professional 3D scanner by Artec, the Space Spider.
Mr Predrag says: “We expect great results from this collaboration with 3DZ. There is no doubt that their experience in the 3D printing and 3D scanning world will play in our favor enabling us to gain a large market share in a short time in Serbia. I am sure the 3DZ brand will guarantee the high level of service that they are able to provide in Italy, 3DZ Group main market.”
3DZ Romania opens its doors with a team already strong on 3D printing. Claudiu Birlogeanu and Tudor Potop are at the helm of CAD WORKS and will be leading the development of the new partnership with 3DZ.
“CAD WORKS is already a well-known reliable partner for the implementation of 3D technologies in our country. Our story starts on 1996 as the first distributor of 3D equipments. Moreover, we are one of the founders of the 3D community in Romania” says Birlogeanu. “We greatly appreciate 3D Systems. We already know the brand and we have a good preparation in the field of 3D printing. The partnership with 3DZ will surely lead to positive synergies and thus reach the highest levels of service and support.”
For the 3DZ Romania opening CAD WORKS chooses to start its journey with 3DZ buying the latest arrival from 3D Systems, a ProJet 2500 Plus, a 3D printer that combines professional quality printing and a reduced footprint. In their workshops will also have a Form 2 by Formlabs and X350 of German RepRap and some scanning solutions.
